Join Our Catering Team

Chick-Fil-A Merrimon Avenue Catering Team

 

Pay $13 per hour – Must be able to work 35 hours per week

 

Role

 

The Catering Team is dedicated to increasing catering sales inside and outside the Restaurant. The Operator will decide how the Catering Team should allocate his/her time, but some common Catering Team responsibilities are below:

  • Identify catering opportunities and follow up on opportunities through phone calls and visits to potential catering guests.

  • Leverage established corporate partnerships and relationships that have Raving Fans®.

  • Make the sale and secure the agreement with catering Customers.

  • Confirm orders the day of the event.

  • Ensure Team Members are delivering a “REMARK”able pickup and/or delivery guest experience.

  • Follow up with guests for feedback and to inquire about their recent experience.

  • Ensure Team Members are properly trained. 

  • Add value for catered events by having a Cow mascot appearance, offering the Chick-fil-A tent for outdoor special events, and decorating with Mini Plush Cows, branded mints and balloons.

  • Manage a database of catering guests.
     

In-Restaurant Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with operations and kitchen staff to ensure the Restaurant has all food and paper goods needed to prepare upcoming catering orders.

  • Ensure the catering equipment and catering area in the Restaurant are clean and organized.

  • Maintain documentation around all Restaurant catering procedures. 

  • Continuously evaluate all guest experiences, and create a culture of continuous improvement and communicate operational improvement ideas to Operator.
     

In-Community Responsibilities 

  • Be an ambassador for the brand by building relationships with local community members.

  • Maintain and continue to grow existing catering relationships (e.g., surprise a guest at work with his or her favorite Chick-fil-A menu item, mail a handwritten thank-you note thanking a guest for his or her partnership with Chick-fil-A).

  • Distribute marketing materials to potential catering guests to build awareness of Chick-fil-A Catering.
